Be Aware To Prevent Cancer

Cancer is a danger and fearful disease. This disease can be happen in any organ of the body. Cancer is a major disease in the world for the death of people.

The causes for cancer include:

  • Smoking.
  • Taking tobacco leaf.
  • Less interested to eat vegetables and fruits.
  • Reluctant to do physical exercise.
  • Having a bulky figure.
  • Radiation from Ultra Violate ray and X-Ray.
  • Some chemical component like Formaldihyde, Aflatoxin etc.
  • Some virus and bacteria.

Due to heavy weight or bulky figure and reluctance to do physical exercise, more than 3000 people died for cancer in each year. And due to air pollution, nearly 70000 people died in cancer.

The World Health Organization (WHO) already declared that, if we do nothing then nearly 8.4 billion people will die due to cancer within 2005 -2015.

Every disease has its own treatment. Their are also ways to prevent that disease. And prevention is always much better option than treatment. Cancer also have the ways to prevent. In December 2008, American Dietetic Association present some advise which can be helpful to prevent Cancer in their Annual Meeting. All those advises are:

  • Try to keep the body weight as low as possible. But we need to ensure we have the minimum weight according to our age.
  • We should also keep our waist in the appropriate standard. For male, this standard is less than 37 inches and for females, this is less than 31.5 inches.
  • Be physically active.
  • Keep your body always in working condition.
  • Try to eat foods or fruits which have fiber.
  • Reduce the taking level of fat, sugar or sweet related foods.
  • Try to take vegetables, fruits at higher quantity.
  • Impose restriction on beef items.
  • Avoid smoking and drinking alcohols.
  • Reduce the habit of taking additional salt with food.
  • Provide only breast milk to the child up to 6 months of their age.
