Usage of Inhelar Can Increase the Risk of Pneumonia

Inhaler is a very well known among the Asthma patients. Many physicians also advised the asthma patients to use inhaler regularly. But in a new research work it is identified, the patients suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) become more exposed towards the risk of Pneumonia for the usage of inhaler.

Due to COPD, the patient will have problems in breathing.

Researchers from School of Medicine of Wake Forest University conduct a research work for 24 weeks. During this time they compare patients who took regular medicine with patients who took Corthic Steroid through inhaler. They discovered that those with inhaler become more vulnerable to the risk of Pneumonia.

The reason of having COPD is smoking. Other than this, long time interaction with polluted air, steams of chemicals or dust can be the reason. From a survey it has been identified that more than 1.5 billion people are having problem regarding COPD in USA. And day by day the number of patients for this disease is increasing. Furthermore, in many cases people with such problem can not identify himself as a patient of COPD due to less awareness. The sources from Wake University expects the real number of patients for COPD can be more than 2.5 billion in USA.
